Piano Stars teachers Carolyn Garritano & Keri Puckrin are cousins who teach piano. Carolyn teaches in St. Albert & online. Keri teaches online lessons only. We customize piano lessons for students of all ages & levels based on your goals. We offer a well balanced program which allows students to choose from a variety of classical & popular music styles. There are a variety of optional performance opportunities each year including studio recitals, music festivals & exams.

Our Music Theory Club is perfect for busy students. You get unlimited email support while working at your own pace. You have access to workbook answers to self correct your work & there are online quizzes to check your progress. There is a drop in class most Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30 for anyone who would like some help, further instruction or just a scheduled time to work on theory.

Carolyn & Keri write piano solos & duets for students and are published composers with the Canadian National Conservatory of Music (CNCM) in their Northern Lights series. We have also had the opportunity to participate in 2 of their Composers & Kids workshops.

Creating music games & activities for teachers is something we do to help make piano lessons more fun. We have an online store and can be found at the Alberta Piano Teachers Association (APTA) Conference trade show every September. We also make greeting cards for all occasions including musical themed, weddings, birthdays & more for sale in our Etsy card shop.

When we are not teaching piano lessons we make printable escape rooms for kids. No music knowledge necessary for these escape rooms especially designed for kids.
